OceanAnnie, Please do some research before bidding. According to their website, the Grand at Traflagar Square only has queen sized beds (1 bed) in their standard rooms. As you seem to be travelling with a friend, this may not be what you are looking for. Just a heads up. You may want to avoid this zone when bidding if one queen is not acceptable. Tried bidding last Thursday and Friday. Tried Vail Resort up to $75, Vail 3* up to $60 and then Breckenridge 3* up to $55 using various combinations. Decided to book conventionally at a 3-3.5* that ends up a better deal (including Cont. breakfast) and won't need to pay resort or parking fees.

Bid last week. Started lower and went up to winning bid of $55.

Started at $65 (bid last week) used free re-bid and won at $70. Total w/taxes etc $163.06.

Last minute trip. New to posting at this site. Started at 3.5* up to $55; refused. Started new bid for 2.5*; first bid of $38 accepted. Good deal as the Fairfield site listed at $149.
