  8. I just booked on Hotwire. It's the Surrey Hotel.
  9. I'm looking at the same hotel for next week....7/9-11....5.0 central park east. If you figure it out, please let me know! THANKS. PS- Its $256 PPS- I'm so picky on Hotwire, I won't stay at less than 90% recommend ! :) tempted to just book it, to let you know
  10. Don't forget: Hyatt Reg. HB adds $25/day parking (but they can give you a RED window sticker for beach lot parking across PCH for $10/day) AND they add $23/day resort fee (but they reduce that and include internet if you are a Hyatt Gold Passport member). Enjoy...its a fantastic property!
  11. Sorry, I know these questions must be so redundant, but I do search through a page or two of titles before asking you! I'm seeing 4* Anaheim south with 95% recommend, and can't link it to an actual tripadivsor property at 95%: 2 adults, 1 kid $135 FIT-POOL-BIZ-REST-INT-GOLF-TENNIS I'm hoping beyond hope its the Grand Californian (amazing property), but not sure if its the Hyatt Orange County (actually cheaper AAA rate of $123 on the Hyatt website). Did the HOTWIRE link, and will again, many thanks.
  12. Thanks...either taxi or subway. 1420 3rd Ave. UES meeting Is Renaissance 57 great/decent/just ok?
  13. Here's my tried and true guide to OC hotels on Hotwire. Enjoy a bit of Hawaii in the OC! These 3 are AMAZING, and I always stay here even though biz is in Costa Mesa. It is SO WORTH staying on the ocean in Hunt. Bch and driving 10 miles to biz. These are the BEST hotels on the ocean in the OC, close to business. Hyatt Huntington Beach (amazing property, like being in Hawaii and only 10 miles from Costa Mesa or SCP Mall) 4*, Resort, beach access, ocean (waves icon), fitness, pool, dining, biz center, internet 4.5 rating, 90% recommend extras: $25 parking/day, $18 resort fee The spa here (covered by the resort fee) is amazing, fresh salt water spa. 2 outdoor pool areas (one for kids with slides, new), 5 outdoor jacuzzis. All rooms are clean, upscale decor, marble bathrooms....all rooms have balconies. Heavenly beds. Coffee in room. Club lounge for Hyatt members -- breakfast, snacks, hors d'oeuvres at 5pm. Hilton Huntington Beach (less quality than the Hyatt, but owned by the same owners -- smaller, more of a casual beachy vibe) 4*, Resort. beach access, (note: will NOT show the waves icon as ocean like the Hyatt), fitness, pool, dining, biz center, internet 4.0 rating, 90% recommend extras: $25 parking, no resort fee Small rooms than Hyatt, noisier insulation (older building), all rooms with balconies, beds comfortable. Coffee in room. Shorebreak Hotel (wonderful, brand new hotel on Main St. in HB. Roll out of the hotel for many shops, restaurants) 4*, Boutique (sometimes, doesn't always show up), beach access, no pool icon is your clue, internet, biz center, restaurant Valet parking, but you can find FREE street parking on the side streets with a little patience and watch the signs for street sweeping, you're fine. Although a new hotel, not many reviews, you must ask to stay on top 4th floor to avoid noise of walking above you. Try to get on the sides or front of the building for ocean views. Wonderful modern beachy decor...bathrooms are huge with 8' sunken tubs. No pool, no jacuzzi, but ocean across the street....very tiny workout room. Wonderful restaurant. Don't be fooled by other 4* in Hunt Bch/ Newport Bch. For instance, the 4* Hyatt Newport Beach shows in this same group, -with shuttle icon is your clue- but is really terrible, one of the worst hotels I've ever been in. Smelly, dark, old, no updated bedding, gross, gross, gross. The only upside to this hotel is the beautful overgrown grounds with tropical foliage and flowers.
  14. Hi....LOVE the site, just found it, and have been doing the Hotwire research on my own for SO long! Use HW about 24x /year, so I will now go into thru your link! :) Please help id: 4* Chelsea Madison Sq. Garden -- boutique, n/smoking, fitness, restaurant, biz, internet no 4* hotels on your NYC hotel list in Chelsea! $232/night, 9/27-29 no reviews Also, it's been years since I've been in NYC, is there a better choice closer to Upper East Side? I have a biz mtg early on UES, so I want to be nearby. Do you recommend Renaissance 57 or no? THANKS!
  15. Hi...I have exactly the same question, 4* chelsea/mad.sq....thanks
