Well, I got an email from Hotwire stating that "We are contacting you about your upcoming stay at the Wyndham Westshore. Based on feedback we have received from other Hotwire guests, we have decided to adjust the star rating to 3 stars. While we are confident in the quality of all our hotel partners, the new rating more accurately reflects the service level, accommodations and facilities of this property. As such, we would like to offer you the option of either canceling the reservation for a full refund, or keeping the reservation and receiving 90.48 HotDollars good for any future purchase on the Hotwire Web site. " I ended up cancelling the Wyndham rather than taking the credit due to a post I'd seen a couple days before on the Priceline board that someone won the Homestead Studio Tampa North Airport for $28 a night. I know it's not as nice as the Wyndham, but it's still a pretty decent place and for only $28 a night! So I cancelled, and successfully bid on the Homestead Studio Suites Tampa North Airport for $28 per night. Saved me $110 bucks over 2 nights (when including the fees). Figure I'd post this info here since Hotwire has given the Wyndham back it's 3* rating.

Bid all the way up to $65 for a 4* and got nothing (wanted ORD hotels only and so added zones outside airport zone without 4* rated hotels for additional bids). Switched to a 3* and bid $38. Got an offer to increase bid $11. Added Lincoln Park and changed bid to $45 and got the Wyndham (taxes and fees are $13.94). I'm happy with this since you can't even get a 1* on Expedia for less than $50 for that night. Wyndham Ohare goes for $160 that night on Expedia. Now if I can just get the Disney Swan cheap in late June, I'll be a happy happy bidder.
