I've got the same situation - just booked a room but didn't realize I needed to use their special link. I'm going to send in the coupon just for the heck of it, but I don't think I will work. It says they will credit your card in 6 - 8 weeks, but wouldn't you have to use the special link for them to know what credit card you used?
I'm not an internet wizard, so I'm not sure how all this link stuff works, but it seems odd they will credit my card without asking what card I used.

I used your link and purchased this hotel. It did turn out to be the Hotel Monaco. In the space of a few hours it had dropped to $82.
I got 2 rooms for 5/12 - 5/15.
Thanks so much! I am very happy!
After striking out several times with PL for NO, I gave Hotwire a look. I have never used Hotwire before, so please be gentle. My question is - how likely is it that this is the Hotel Monaco? It's listed for $86.

Well, here's the update. I was able to bid again last night because I added Con. Center. I bid first for 4* then a new bid for 3* and my high bid was $80 - struck out every time.
As for EasyClickTravel, I'm still a little leary of the site. There are a few negative experiences posted on this board, and something else made me uneasy. When you look at the search page for the Alexa it says the avg rate is $102, but when you hit "book it" the next page says the avg rate is $112.
However, I know I need to book a back-up asap, so that's the plan for today.
Is something going on in NO for my dates? I can't believe people were getting deals during Jazzfest and I can't get jack for a random wknd in May.
Splitting the stay scares me a little, and I should have mentioned that I'm bidding for 2 rooms. I was planning on using EasyClickTravel for my back-up.
By suggesting this plan are you implying that you don't think it's possible to get anything on PL for less that $99?
Here's the info -

I have already bid for 3* in the FQ up to $70 and struck out. I'm eligible to rebid tomorrow night.
Thanks in advance!!
I have never bid in an area that has the "boutique" designation before, so I have a couple of questions.
In New Orleans, only 1 zone has boutique (which is what I prefer) Would my free rebid zones be all zones that don't have a 4*? In other words, by bidding for boutique I could be upgraded to a 4*, but never downgraded to a 3*, right?
Also, a certain other bulletin board (which I have recently been banned from for no apparent reason) says that PL will NOT upgrade a boutique bid to a 4*, but I saw a post on this board by thereuare, that said PL had emailed him that boutique COULD be upgraded, because in the hierarchy it is between 3* and 4*. Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Good news! I sent in for the Entertainment Book rebate even though I mistakenly didn't use their link, and I got an email a couple of days ago saying me rebate had been processed and would show up on my credit card soon.
I guess it never hurts to try!
