Just closing this thread. Ended up using the HOTWIRE link on this board as I bid on PRICELINE up to $250 with no wins. Won on hotwire the St Giles - The Tuscany. Only amenity was Internet for $250 a night from 6-8 June. Thansk for your help/

I have tried bidding via the PRICELINE link on this website a couple of times a week up to $250 and no luck. Will try again today however I think I may need to take the Hotwire 4* hotel in ESB area which looks to be the St Giles the Court for $249 a night, as I cannot find any other 4* hotels for $250 a night.

Hello, Looking for a possible bidding strategy for the 6-8 June. The areas that would suit are CPS, ESB, MTE, MTW, TS and Chelsea for a 4* and my max budget is $250 per night including tax. Is this realistic for these dates? Cheers

Added a 3.5 stars in CPS and won the Park Central for $145 (dates 10-14 March). Really happy with the location however the hotel gets very mixed reviews so hoping for a good stay. I used the PRICELINE link from the board to start my purchase..

Sorry! I forgot to mention that I had to change my date to 10-14 March! The hotel is showing during these new dates at $159.00 with only 1 amentity. Still a little out of my price range as I was hoping to keep it under $180 (all in) per night. Going to keep bidding on PRICELINE for the next 2 weeks to see if I can get any wins at 4 stars. Otherwise will research other options and possible lower star level and I need something secured this month.
