for 2/5 i got $65, this time i got $56 as reported in other threads
After failing at $45 I tried $50 and it said no and offered me a minimum new bid of $65 which gave me this hotel.
Booked through the PRICELINE link. I tried the next two Saturdays for the same amount and was turned down
I used the PRICELINE link to book. Going rate that day is $122. Thanks to other posters on here i was able to get a similar winning bid at a hotel chain i trust.
I see why they may be having a discount. they are doing a renevations in the hotel Oh well i'm just using this as an overnight crashpad between flights

Most if not all the airport area hotels have a free shuttle to the airport. You can then catch the light rail (MAX) from the airport to downtown. The hotels near cascade station have both an airport shuttle and are within a quick walk to the MAX. If your arriving and departing at a decent hour you may be happier staying at a downtown hotel as most of them are within walking distance of the MAX and only about 45min ride from the airport
