  1. 1. Regarding my New York Stay: I ended up using some coupons I had for three free nights at the Hilton and then decided to pay up and went to the Westin. As a platinum starwood member, we got a very nice upgrade at the Westin. 2. Using the reverse look up tool, I played around with it and finally got some results. It turned out to be the Holiday Inn Select Boston. Not too excited about that hotel. But I'm glad I finally figured out how to use that tool. Thanks for encouraging me to do so. I may stay at a private reciprocal club instead. 3. Regarding the amenities listed on the Santa Fe offerings: In addition to those mentioned in the first finding, there is also tennis nearby and a business center. Otherwise, the description I put down covers it.

  3. This is from Easy Click for Boston. 1. Do you know what hotel this is? 2. Can one be guaranteed 2 beds?
  4. Quality is more important than price. We prefer two beds or a king. Areas (2) Downtown/Copley $160 Don't have a backup yet Thanks again.
  5. I am looking for a four star hotel in Boston for two nights starting September 26. Apparently there are 4,000 people attending conventions at that time. Any ideas about bidding? Thank you
  6. Today I bid $125 for 4* Mayfair and was rejected. Then I bid $150 and got a reservation for four nights, May 28 - June 1 at The Park Lane, the Sheraton Hotel. Since I am a Gold Card Starwood guest, I am expecting a good experience. We are very pleased with the result.
  7. I could use some help for this trip. I was bidding for Central Park South. First bid of $150. Added UES zone at $175. Added UWS zone at $200. These bids were rejected. What would be a better strategy? Thanks.
  8. I don't recall if this was a customer favorite or not. The following is the amenity list: Historic District - Waterfront (Downtown) Restaurant(s), Pool(s). Fitness Center. Business Center. The hotel no longer seems to be available on HOTWIRE for the dates I requested on 3/25. In any case, I purchased the room for $75 per night for three nights $225 Hotel taxes and fees: $35.95 Hotel Subtotal $260.95 Total Price $260.95
  9. I did not get a counter offer. I will try again after the 72 hour waiting period. Any ideas? Thanks
  10. I tried for May 28-June 1 (4) nights in Mayfair. We do not want a different area. I bid $120 and was rejected. I then bid $125 adding the opne free bid in South Park and was rejected again. I would love to get the Waldorf Hilton where we were successful last year. I'm willing to go considerably higher. What would be a good strategy? Thanks sk
  11. Thank you both for your help. I decided to purchase the Hotwire offer of $75 and got the Sheraton Society Hill. I have a Starwood Gold Card and don't know whether that will assist me in getting any additional benefits, but we are pleased with the selection.
  12. I am willing to go to $75 in Philadelphia but prefer not to lower the rating. I have a feeling the problem is in the first night, April 20. I could take the suggestion of dahammer and use hotline's offer of $77 for what is believed to be the Sheraton Society Hill. However, as I understand it, that is essentially a three star hotel. Any ideas? Thanks
  13. I started at $43 for 4 * hotel in Philadelphia for 3 nights from April 20 departing April 23. I went up to $65 and was rejected with each zone. Can you give me some advice for pursing a 4* hotel in this time frame. Thanks, Muffalator
