3*** Best Western Plus High Sierra Hotel Stay 4/2/2014 - 4/6/2014 $125/night Been a while since I posted anything, but I like checking on here just to see where I might start. Last minute trip due to the late snowfall gets me the winning bid at Best Western on Priceline for $125. Started at $90 in $5 increments a little painful and slow, but kind of had a hint this might of been Best Western after reviewing Hotwire and Priceline . Almost booked a room on Hotwire for $120 until I just read it had a $20 resort fee per night I'm pretty sure was the Mammoth Mountain Inn and I wanted to stay closer to town. Posted amenities: Free breakfast, free WIFI, Indoor pool, Exercise gym, business center, restaurant, non-smoking, free parking, cable, hair dryer, room service

By the way forgot to mention when booked with HOTWIRE this did not include the $25 resort fee per day. I ended up being charge the fee when I arrived. List of what is included is below. I do not remember if HOTWIRE made notice of this when I booked. Internet was free.

Hi Selected North Shore area Hotel 4* Received Turtle Bay Resort 4* North Shore Area Hotel $203 / night 7/24/2010 - 7/29/2010 Resort / Beachfront / Fitness Center / Pool / Restaurants / High Speed Internet / Golf / Tennis Direct book with resort was $259 only if you prepaid and couldn't cancel reservation otherwise it was $302 Priceline w/o bidding was $259. The only option to choose on the North Shore to bid with Priceline was a resort so figured as much this was Turtle Bay. I bid $169, $179, and $189 and at that point there wasn't much difference between Priceline and Hotwire so just chose the sure thing with Hotwire I accidentally clicked on 3 people at one point with Hotwire and noticed the rate went up $50 per additional person. I watched Hotwire during the course of two days and price fluctuated from $203 - $213 and back down to $203 in just one day.
