Started bidding up to $140 per night for 4 nights starting 09/28 to 10/02 but was not having any success. So booked one 3 night package at the Venetian on Expedia with air and hotel which discounted $265. After deducting airfare this worked out to $150 per night. Was happy with that as posted rates averaged $260. Then after seeing a Hotwire posting for the 28th for $112 which sounded like either the Venetian or the Palazzo thought I would add another night. Started my bids at $90 then success at $100.00 for the Palazzo. Will have to move after the 1st night but no big deal as it is all in same complex.

I am also looking for similar dates (9-28 to 10-2) and have been bidding up to $145 without success. Today I was countered at $186 so if you are still looking to pay up to $190 you might want to try again. Let me know if you have any success.

Success at last! After bidding for a week between $110 and $134 my bid was finally accepted! $134 per night at the Venetian. Happy with this as I know there are several large conferences going on during this time. Whoops sorry those dates should be 06/01/11 to 06/04/11 for a total of 3 nights! And of course I used your PRICELINE links.

Decided not not take a chance on this one and ended up deciding on a different destination (Isla Mujeres).

I have been bidding for the last few days starting at $110 and increasing my bids with free re-bid zones up to $130 with no success (using your PRICELINE link of course). I know there are several large conferences going on and just trying to decide if I should keep trying as I get closer to the dates or bite the bullet and take the Hotwire Strip North for $146 (which looks like it would be Venetian or Palazzo as the amenities show a suite). I am not interested in the less expensive 5 star properties in the strip south area. Anybody have any experience or suggestions with these dates? BTW- Fabulous website!

Looking to ID Hotwire 4.5-star hotel All Inclusive in North Riviera Maya - Puerto Morelos. This hotel features the following amenities: Resort (A resort fee may be charged.) Suite Beachfront Food and Beverages Included Premium Beverages Included A La Carte Dining Water Sports/Activities Included Evening Entertainment Included Daily Activities Included Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services All-Inclusive This hotel does not specify "Adults Only" but I don't know of any all inclusive 4.5 star with suites that aren't adults only in the area. Started my bidding at $100 for Las Vegas Strip North, then went to $110 and finally $115 (by adding in different zones). I am happy with the outcome.

Hey that is very interesting! I am looking for the same dates but checking in a day earlier. Hotwire comes back with $129 per night so it would be cheaper to stay 4 nights instead of 3 nights. Slightly different ammenities, I suspect you are getting the Wynn and I am getting the Venetian or Palazzo.

Hi there, You can add Boulder, Henderson, Downtown, Summerlin, etc. as there are no 5 star properties in those areas either. HOTWIRE has what looks the Trump for $99 (in North Vicinity) and a South Strip Hotel for $123 (not yet rated, possibly Vdara or Aria?). So you are probably close. Your dates are probably more expensive than the May dates for $92 (one was my successful bid). Good luck!

Started bidding at $90 for north zone and increased by increments of $5 up to $130 using free rebids. Didn't include the north vicinity as I don't want the Trump. Will keep trying as I see someone else got $90 for the Wynn for the same dates a week ago.
