I used the HOTWIRE link above and booked it. It was the Holiday Inn. By the time I booked the rate had gone up to $86. For a downtown hotel during tourist season, I'll take it. Glad to have the hotel part over! I appreciate all the information here.

I searched for a room 6/16-6/18 for 2 adults. 3 star, olde town penn's landing amenities: non-smoking, fitness, restaurant, business center, laundry, high speed internet. For $84 a night. Is this the Holiday Inn?? Right now I have a reservation there for $172+tax a night. This would save me a lot of money. i'm thinking "laundry" is the identifying amenity. Thanks.

Is is usually during the week? I'm just wondering if there is any recognizable pattern? Do you see new offers pop up on weekends, or is it mostly week days. Just trying to figure out how often I need to check for new deals. TIA.

Can you explain what you mean? Do you think Park Hyatt is a much preferred hotel? If so, why? Loews seems to have the better location. Thanks!

Thanks! I had no idea that upping the number of adults would yeild more rooms to choose from and cheaper rooms! Makes no sense to me that 1 adult and 1 child would not bring up that room but 2 adults and 1 child would. I will play around with the head count a bit.

New to Hotwire and this forum... am seeing a 3* Philadelphia City Center East hotel for $123 a night (june 16-18). The only amenities listed are complimentary breakfast and swimming pool. Any ideas what hotel this is??
