  1. It was actually the "big" hilton at 1001 Marquette.
  2. My boyfriend and I stayed here on March 27 (one night) and really enjoyed the experience. We ended up parking on the street, which is free if you are there on a weekend. Staff were super friendly and the hotel foyer was gorgeous. We did not partake in either the restaurant or lounge, as they were both a little pricey. Since the original review (from lialmn), amenities have changed to Crabtree and Evelyn "La Source" - definitely a plus from the female perspective! Bed was very comfortable and the room was average size. Everything was clean and very respectable. Since we had a car, we did not find the location at all a negative. The hotel is located kitty corner to the home of the symphony (orchestra centre, I believe) and is within walking distance of a couple great pubs (the Brit and the Local) as well as numerous restaurants, the target hq (2 story retail centre), saks off 5th and macy's. Highly recommended!! LINK to Priceline Win
  3. @ Mr. B It was recommended in 90% of reviews. It ended up being the Hilton on Marquette!
  4. I just won my first HOTWIRE! Turns out the four star was the Hilton Minneapolis and Towers. It was $55 plus $14.74 fees and taxes. Will report back once we return from Minneapolis! Thanks for all the advice and information here!
  5. Hi there, I am a newbie looking to possibly make my first hotwire purchase. We are looking for a room for one night on March 27 (saturday). A four star came up for $55 with fitness, restaurant(s), business centre and high speed. My guess is the Radisson, Westin or Hilton Marquette. Does the price/timeline provide any other clues to you experienced travelers out there??? PS 500+ reviews and 4.5's across the board
