I went ahead and did the 3.5 star and got in westport doubletree for $45. I didnt care about downtown or not. There must be something going on. thanks

I didnt see this covered anywhere. In the past history does it matter if you bid early for your trip or wait til closer to the time your going. Im trying to book a 4* in St. Louis for this saturday Feb 1st for one night and I have gone all the way up to $100 with fee's and its getting rejected everytime. In the past I have stayed in the same area 4* for $60 with fees but it has been during the week and not a weekend. thanks

I started at $45 and went up until I got to $50 and the bid was accepted. Cant wait to check the property out. Dates are 4/14/11-4/15/11

Now it says $224 and $245 with fees. If I bid a price they add $39.55 per ticket for taxes and fee's. So I tried $20 and $25 plus the $39.55 taxes and fee's on each ticket. not sure why the price went up.

Follow up: I went with PRICELINE 4* St Louis (Downtown) Marriott Union Station $60 ... 3/10/10-3/12/10

This probably isnt a good deal compared to other threads I read. I bid before I found this site also. Anyways, I got the marriott at union station for $60 night this month. I booked it a couple of weeks ago and Im surprised I did not get the Hyatt everyone talks about. Im guessing priceline goes down a list and if the first one does not accept then the move to the next hotel.

I am looking for 3 airline tickets memorial day weekend and I tried to bids on PRICELINE and both were turned down. Im wandering if I should wait until it gets closer or if my bids are too low. I am looking at STL to MSP. Currently they offer $139 with fees for each ticket. I bid $69 and $75 with fees and was still turned down. thank in advance

I dont know if this is the right place to post this but I was curious if someone can help me find out what hotel I will get from hotwire based on the information I can get.
