This is an older Holidome property, a little tired but a decent value for the price. Major road construction makes it difficult to reach the property.

On Travelocity, the best rate was $92.01, plus taxes and fees for $311.40.

On LaQuinta's site, the best rate was $79, plus taxes and fees for $267.81.

Travelocity says it is a "2-star" property and LaQuinta says it has a AAA "3-diamond" rating. The LaQuinta site says it also has a fitness center, which doesn't show on Hotwire's list.

My price was $62 per night, for two nights plus taxes and fees, the total came to $147.95.

The taxes and Hotwire charges came to $13.95, for a total of $58.95. I think the lowest price listed on Travelocity for the Hilton that evening was $69 plus taxes/fees.

It was a fairly nice property; kind of hard to find at night, especially if you're unfamiliar with the side roads. It's in an office park and there isn't anything within walking distance.

I forgot to add that I checked prices for that day on Travelocity, and the Marriott lists a "senior discount" rate or AMEX rate of $76, a AAA rate of $85, or a "Leisure Rate" of $89.

I was hoping for Embassy Suites, but the Marriott will have to do. I started with a $40 bid, then got a Priceline screen that said "we will let you bid again if you increase your bid by $12," so that's what I did.

The "taxes and service fees," which include Priceline's charge, is $12.86, so my total charge for the night is $64.86.
