  1. I spent three days looking for a good deal: adding areas, decreasing star levels and modifying bid amounts. At the end I got this property in Soho for $120 per night plus tax. Holiday Inn website's rate is $199 plus tax. I used the betterbidding links to PRICELINE. Under the circumstances, looks like a good deal (Is this a new hotel to be added to the Priceline NY hotel list?)
  2. Using the PRICELINE links: 1st Bid $80 Hotel Zone 5* - Not accepted 2nd Bid $85 Added Resort - Not Accepted 3rd Bid $90 Added H.Z. South - Accepted. Total w/taxes: $111usd (vs $125 from Kayak's rate, same as starwood's rate) I'm OK with the deal. I saved a few bucks but still got some bittersweet feeling that I should've tried adding "Downtown" at same star level to keep bidding for the "hotel zone". Deals are not as good as they used to be a few years back, right? Thanks Betterbidding!
  3. July 6-8, 2012 (two nights) Used the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links! Tuesday June 19th First bid: $80 Cabo San Lucas, Resort - REJECTED Second bid: $85 Added El Corridor Area - REJECTED Wednesday June 20th First bid: $85 El Corridor, Resort - ACCEPTED Westin Resort and Spa, Los Cabos (Corridor) Total: $203.58usd Nice deal! Although, Hotwire had super savings offer for $79 4 stars and $96 for 4.5 Stars. I wonder if any of the 4-star properties (for $79) are equivalent to the Westin (Riu, Pueblo Bonito, or Villa del Arco, as reported on hotwire hotel list). Thank you again Better Bidding!
  4. 4* Mexico City 5/13-14/2011 First bid: $60 rejected, Second bid $65 Accepted! Total with Taxes $85. Compared to Hotels.com/Kayak price of $165, it's a pretty good deal. I used the PRICELINE link Thanks! JL
