Hello, I'm new to using PRICELINE.com and was wondering if anybody has had any success onf a 2-4 star hotel in SoHo/Times Square/Grand Central Station area during these periods. We're open to other areas but not Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Long Island, and Harlem. I did a search but didn't find anything really close. We would prefer something close to the Subway and within a budget of no more than $125/night. It will only be myself and my girlfriend traveling. We thought of trying to rent somebody's apartment but figured we should play it safe for now. If I go through a certain area (i.e. SoHo) and say there are only 17 hotels, if I were to throw in my own offer, will it only select a hotel within that list or is there some kind of Secret Option C hotel? Any tips/leads appreciated. Thanks!
