  1. I used the PRICELINE link from this site. Area Halifax Selected 3.5* Started bidding the other day at 55$ Tried again next day for for 65$ Then following day for 75$ Then $80 last night...... $80 was declined and it offered us to up our bid by $20 to $100 /night. We did and we got the Westin 4* for $100/night for 5 nights. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $100.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 5 Room Subtotal: $500.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $100.20 (USD) Total Room Cost: $600.20 (USD) It was probably a bit higher than usual because it is Labour Day Weekend, but I didn't want to try to book the nights separately because it would be a pain to change hotels. Overall I'm happy with the win. Thanks Betterbidding. :)
  2. I'm trying to book and 3.5* and up in Halifax for 5 nights. Sept 1st-6th 2011 We've started low $55, tried $65, and $75 to no avail yet. I'm wondering if it is going to be more difficult to book that many days in a row (because it will have to be accepted by one hotel) And because it falls on labour day weekend? Has anyone had any experience with bidding then and or Halifax or longer duration stays (5) nights? Thanks!
  3. Dates Sept 1-6th 2011 3.5* Fitness Center Restaurant Business Center High Speed Internet. Hi, I'm wondering anyone can take a guess at to what hotel(s) this might be ? Thanks!
  4. I'm looking at the Ottawa hotels and I'm trying to figure what this 4* one might be Downtown Ottawa Hotel 4* 89$ Non smoking, Fitness centre, pool, restaurant, business centre, high speed, and children's activity program?
  5. Bid starting at 40,45,50,55, and worked up to 60, it then countered by asking to add $17. Kept 3* rating each time. Won Hotel Indigo Nov 13-15th Reviews look pleasing, quite happy with win and location.
  6. Sorry, November 13th for 2 nights. (Leaving the 15th). Thanks again!
  7. Hi there, I'm going to start a bid at 3* and probably $40 for downtown Ottawa. Do you have any advice/tips? Thank you/greatly appreciated
  8. The PRICELINE site itself. If one was to pull up a map of the dowtown Ottawa hotels it is not there/or in the hotel list for downtown. It only appears in all Ottawa hotels list version. Did I word that right? Thanks What I mean is that to get the Novotel you have to bid Ottawa Hull when it is clearly in downtown Ottawa.
  9. Has anyone noticed the Novotel, which is clearly in the Ottawa (Ottawa) area, does not show up on that map or in the ist of hotels that should be in the Ottawa area downtown? That is a mistake is it not? Because I'm pretty sure it is not in Hull. ?
  10. Bid $55 for a 3.5* and got the Delta Chelsea which works for us because it's a quick walk to and from the Greyhound Bus. :)
