Thank you very much for your help. I am not really excited about any of these options and decided not to buy on Hotwire. I have a cancellable reservation for reward nights at Hilton Garden Inn (I know it's far, but seem to be well-connected to the city and it's almost free). I also found an apartment (very central location) for a total or 600 Euro for 3 nights which definitely sounds better than either of the room for about the same price. I'll go with one of these options.Thanks again for your help!

Sorry for being so technically challenged, but I am not able to copy and paste from there. However, it shows the same amenities I listed in the original post with the addition of Internet Access (and the prices are higher) $162 and $154 respectively. P.S. Madrid was a long time ago - I didn't even realize I didn't follow up. I apologize for that. Will definitely do this time.

I think you are right, but it's a moot point now because it's not coming up any more. I may wait a little to see what happens. There are hotels at around the same price on sites like GTA Hotels, venere, etc. where you can see what you are booking. I just don't know if HOTWIRE price is so good now. I may also try PRICELINE. I need the best deal for 2 double rooms. I think PRICELINE may give a bigger % off.

apparently it can also be San Antonio De La Florida Hotel Madrid - when quiried for a package it comes up as 3* with restaurant and laundry as amenities.
