I have stayed here and am 99% sure they do not have a pool -- but they started displaying the spa icon when the spa is nearby, not on premise -- opening the possibility they might do the same with a pool. Makes sense; I will ensure I follow up whether bookig through Hotwire or other means in the future.I ended up booking the Hilton Suites this time directly with Hilton's gold desk becaue they came up with a good rate for this property ($169).

Sure. Whenever I make a Hotwire booking, I do follow up with the details so others can benefit, just as i have benefitted from this site. Did not book via Hotwire on either of those trips; one trip was cancelled and the other room secured through the convention booking block -- was not aware you wanted anything other than successful bookings posted. Per your request, I have inserted that info in those threads from earlier this year.

Hi, I need help identifying a property on Hotwire in the Universal/Sea World zone. It is a 3.5* for $77 on 9/9-9/10 Customer favorite Amenities are: Restaurant Pool Fitness Business Center Laundry (self-serve) The comments in the Customer Favorite reviews mentioned that it is a new property and that it has an excellent restaurant. Any input?

Based on the list, this could be the Westin, Omni Ambassador East or Whitehall Any insights?

One review mentioned the shower curtain on a curved rod, which is part of Westin's Heavenly Bath programs and another mentioned a view of the river.

I decided to go for it;any of the hotels previously identified as 4.5 * in that area are all excellent. as it happens, I got the Swissotel for a rate of $105. I am delighted, because I love this hotel. It appears they hid some of the amenities so it would not be easily identifiable. I wonder whether that was done because I have previously gotten that hotel on Hotwire and obviously know what the amenities are? In any case, thanks for the new links to use; too late for this trip, but will definitely use next time.
