Saw this on Hotwire at $43 and thought it was the San Crane as per the decoded list, was picking on location to the train station so the Smile Hotel Kyoto will be fine. Reviews on trip advisor are solid for location and not much else. Clicked on the board HOTWIRE link at used the 10% promo code. Thanks BB

This bid is a story of frustration and success. I had been looking at express deals about a week ago for this as a 4.5* at $114 and tried to click through, only to be told no inventory. I reported this to PRICELINE. Came back a week later, same issue, reported it again and the online chat people are not helpful. I've used express deals a lot recently for ease, but then I decided to bid to see if I could get this deal. I had already decoded it on better bidding, using the PRICELINE link to then book, as the JMW. There is only a 4.5* in one of the six zones so I knew I had 6 bids. It was now showing a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal that didn't work at $111. I opened my bidding at $100, to get a counter offer of $161. I added a zone, upped my bid by $5 and the won! Serves Priceline right, saving $6! Which is swallowed by the resort fee :-(

Saw lots of winning bids for this hotel and for Palmer Hilton, would have been happy with either for this price! Reviews on tripadvisor complain about poor service because its a massive hotel, but I think some people on their just like to complain!

We had been spending ages searching for a deal and were looking at the south beach area and most 3* were coming up at $75+, until a we found a $55 which we wrongly decoded for south beach as we didn't look in the misc miami section at the bottom of the hotel decoding page.
