  1. I noticed that they just dropped the rate on the website to $289 about 2 weeks before my check-in date. If I would have waited, I probably could have got this for the $160 rate other members have reported.
  2. 3* Las Vegas (Airport LAS) Doubletree Club $40... 2/23/12-2/24/12 First bid of $40 was accepted. I was looking for a non-casino hotel that did not have resort fees. 55% off. I am happy with the deal. I used the PRICELINE link.
  3. That sucks... Anyways.. I have booked about 25 transactions through your link in the past few years. This site has saved me thousands of dollars. Thanks.
  4. I started bidding at $160 the past couple of days and have not had much luck. I received an offer for $239, but declined. When I looked on the website, the Advanced Non Refund Rate is $403. Hotwire has this listed for $280. I received an email today from priceline for $5 off/night. I bid $205 +$5 and won. I am 17 days out from the trip and did not want to take any chances. The $403 rate on the website seems like the occupancy rate must be high as I read other posts stating the rate was $330. I clicked the link..... then I clicked the link in my email to get the $5. I hope you got credit. oops... please move to priceline
  5. I have stayed here before.... location is great. The hotel does need a renovation for a 4*. Parking is $25/day... At $69 its a good deal.
  6. First Bid... $69 was accepted. 4* San Diego (Downtown and Harbor Island) Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego $69 ... 12/16/11-12/18/11 I used the PRICELINE link!
  7. With no prior history found anywhere on Thunder Bay, this was a scary bid and my worst nightmare came true.... I was really hoping it was the newly built Days Inn. My first bid of $65 was accepted. *2 Travelodge Thunder Bay $65 7/16-719 450 Memorial Avenue, Thunder Bay, Ontario P7B 3Y7, Canada The TripAdvisor reviews are bad.
  8. 3* Winnipeg (South) Holiday Inn South $65 ... 7/13/11-7/15/11 I bid $60 for Winnipeg South and it was declined with an offer to try again and raise by $15. I declined and added Winnipeg Airport, raised to $65 and it was accepted. I used the PRICELINE link..
  9. Hey... np. I was really hoping to find something for cheap through PRICELINE. Good luck with your search.
  10. I just tried bidding on New Glasgow abd Stellerton for the past 2 weeks. I bid up to $85 on got nothing. I eventually just booked the Country Inn through the hotel website.
  11. The only 4* in Quebec City is Lowe Le Concorde. If you read trip advisor it gets bad reviews. You should think about trying for a 3.5 star so you could get the Delta or Hilton.
  12. I just checked HOTWIRE for your nights... It says 3.5 is $135. The nights I wanted are $115. Just a theory, but It seems like the hotel is somewhat full for the nights that you want. Let me know how you make out.
  13. I have been trying for quite awhile to get these nights. The price on the website is $160cdn. I saved around $55/night. I tried $95 and was rejected. I then tried $99 and it went through. It is high season, so I am not sure if I would have done better waiting another week.
  14. I tried $81 and $85 this morning on Priceline for the 5th-7th... no dice. 3.5*
  15. I am trying to get Quebec City for the 5th to the 7th. The 4* is more than likely Loews Le Concorde. If you read Trip Advisor, everyone says that it needs a renovation really bad. The Hilton has been a 4*, but I have not seen a winning post in like 8 months. I also noticed that the Hilton is listed as a 3.5 star on the Priceline website if you want to book it with out the Bid your Own Price. Hilton gets good reviews on trip advisor and its close to Old Quebec. The Delta is a 3.5* that has been won on Priceline many times and the reviews on trip advisor are good. Close to Old Quebec as well. Some of the 3* hotels in Quebec City sound like dumps and the location could not be the greatest. I think the best play is to bid on Priceline for a 3.5* only for Quebec City. You will more than likely get the Delta... but you may just get the Hilton. I have bid up to $80 for the 5th-7th of July with no luck yet. Try bidding $75, if that does not work add another zone and try $81. If that fails, go for $85. The only zone that has 3.5 and 4* is Downtown. You can use all the other zones for free bids.
  16. I have been trying to get a hotel in Ottawa for the past few weeks. Although HOTWIRE has a 4* listed between $77-$80 for alot of nights in July, this night was $110, $114 and $117 when I looked... it kept going up in price on hotwire! There must be something going on in Ottawa on the 7th. I bid $81 and it was rejected. I then bid $85 and it was accepted. I used the PRICELINE link.
  17. I bid $45 and it failed. I tried $49 and it was accepted. Sheraton Gateway Toronto Intl. I have stayed here before and I am very happy as this hotel is connected to the airport. No Shuttle Bus for my 6am flight! I used the PRICELINE link.
  18. I am trying to get an Ottawa 4* for July 7th... No luck with PRICELINE and HOTWIRE quotes $110. Any advice?
