I just won this hotel in Madrid as part of my summer vacation. I was really hoping for the Westin based on past history shared on the boards. This appears to be a new location for this area? Bid $115... Rejected Offered free rebid at $145... Accepted The reviews on trip advisor seem positive so hopefully this will work out well for us.

Overall an uneventful stay. Mint on the bed from the maid was a nice touch, should have been two though. Would have been a mad dash had there been an additional guest. The vending machine on the 2nd floor was $1.25 for a 12oz water and it dispensed a short stubby 10oz bottle. :) No free wifi and you need to get a PIN # from the front desk. No one told me at check in, I used my BlackBerry connection instead. Not terrible, but not great, for the price and it is under 5 min drive to the lincoln tunnel park'n'ride.

Nothing was available at the 3* level which are all great hotels in this zone. Dropped down to 2.5* and got this hotel. It is perfectly average and the beds are poured concrete. There are smoking rooms so you could get stuck. From the looks of it the hotel is pretty empty during the week.

Hi Jeff, The bus is NJ Transit #320 and is right out the back door, the hotel desk will help you as many tourists stay here. Roundtrip is $6.30 and the drivers break up to a $20 bill. Be advised the trip takes longer at rush hour in the morning. You really don't need a car if all you plan on doing is going into the city. Not sure if there is an airport shuttle, but a car service may be cheaper than renting a car to get to the hotel.
