Hilton Suites Anaheim/Orange400 N State College Blvd Orange, CA 92868 714-938-1111 Check-In: Thursday, April 23, 2009-04:00 PM Check-Out: Sunday, April 26, 2009-11:00 AM Summary of Charges Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $50.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Room Subtotal: $150.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $26.97 (USD) Total Room Cost: $176.97 (USD) The Hotel was nice. Parking was $11/day which is reasonable. The room was a Queen two room suite. There is a pull out sofa sleeper which is not too comfortable for adults. I called about switching to two double beds and the cost is $20/day. I stayed with the Queen. The good: updated hotel, nice location next to highway 5, our room and hotel were very clean. They have of the luggage dollies which made getting the luggage to the room and back to the car very easy. The ice machine was great for filling up the cooler. There was a hotel restaurant but we were at Disneyland most of the time. It looked nice. The not so good: The slider lock to the room door was coming off. No in-room safe and the safety boxes at the front desk cannot handle a laptop. Also, charging $8 to my room for bus passes took a long time (used cash after than). The front desk seemed to work in slow motion sometimes. The bad: The hotel was cleaning the carpet (in the rooms and hallways) and the staff informed us that our room would not be touched and would work with us to make sure we were going to be out of the room. We came back that same day to wet carpet and furniture. I called and complained. They offered another room but it would have taken hours to move my stuff. We decided to use the pool and when we got back it was ok (we were wet by then). Very annoying. The pool is just ok. Kinda small and 3.5 feet deep all around. Outdoor pool was too cold to swim in. The ART shuttle is worth the $4/day/adult. Much easier than driving to disney and then waiting for their shuttles especially if you have kids. We never waited more than 15 minutes. First day we drove. We had a waiting in a long line just to pay for parking. Then we had to wait for the shuttle to fill up before it would leave. Same thing on the way back. Then they closed that parking lot and Disney that evening move the parking to behind the Paradise Pier Hotel. With no tram. So quite the walk back (Could not take the monorail since I had dropped my wife and kids off at the entrance. Wish there was a way to get the hotels across the street for this price.
