:) Just booked, it is the Sheraton Manhattan, I am happy with purchase,I have never been to USA and think the location is good. Have used the HOTWIRE link for all purchases. Only one more hotel to go! Niagara Falls ,think we might wait closer to time to book. I have really appreciated all the help that I have been given and it has certainly allowed us the opportunity of staying in a better hotel for the price we wanted to pay. I will have to book another holiday as I will be lost not looking at better bidding!

:) Booked Madison thanks for the advice, I am sure we will be happier closer to the city. Price had dropped to $106 per night which was even better. To book this hotel from a travel agent in Australia it is $478Aud -$366 US per night!

Thanks, I can use HOTWIRE from Australia but can not use PRICELINE as you have to have a USA or Canada billing adress. I will now have to use Hotwire, thanks for the tip about the Pickwick, I have plenty of time as our travel dates are in August tio September soand we need nine different cities over this period of time. I am watching om HOTWIRE and when something reasonable comes along I will just take it. Thanks for your very informative forum.
