I am a first time bidder on Priceline and went with my borther's recomendation yesterday to bid $135 for a 4* in NYC theatre district. This is where I really want to stay and got my bid rejected. I know that I can try again in 24 hours. Do you have any suggestions on price? I noticed some other posts that were successful with bids around $139, but it looked like they bid closer to the time they were traveling. I can wiat if neccesary until closer to May, but would really like to get this done if possible. I would be willing to pay around $175-180/night, but would obviously love to get a rate closer to $130-150. Any suggestions?
