  1. -Free Internet -Pet Friendly -Airport Shuttle -Fitness Center -Restaurant -Business Center -Self Service Laundry 95% Recommended ------ I agree with this, it is a great hotel, in a great location. I go to Vancouver once a year and Hotwire's 3 stars switch between the Holiday Inn, Sheraton or Marriott in the YVR zone. The Holiday Inn charges the least out of all of them for parking, $8/night and a McDonalds is located in the parking lot for your breakfast needs. I find that you get the best rates when you book about a week out.
  2. This cost me $180.18 (with Priceline coupon that I got in the mail) total with tax for 2 nights, the regular Priceline listing and Hilton website both came up to a total of $387-$378 for the same 2 nights. I stayed here 3 or 4 years ago at a similar rate, it is close to the things in Richmond that I need (Skytrain, Night Market, etc). My only gripe is a parking charge for a suburban hotel. I started with a bid of $65 in the YVR zone with 4 stars... Rejected Raised to $70 and selected 3.5 stars.... Rejected Raised to $75 and added Downtown Vancouver..... Rejected Raised to $80 and added Granville Entertainment District.... Accepted! :)
  3. I think the main problems with your dates is that the Consumer Electronics Show is going on during the first couple days of your stay (January 10th-13th). I wanted to book a room for Jan 5th-10th, but the 10th caused the price to shoot up on Hotwire. I had to cut things short by a day and got a really good deal.
  4. Had a really close call this morning. I plugged in January 5th-9th, 2012 for Las Vegas and I saw a 5 star(North Strip) with a Bed Choice/SPA/Resort/Fitness Center/Swimming Pool/Restaurant and High Speed Internet access. Came on to this site to see what hotel it might be and must of spent a little too much time away because when I went back to purchase, it timed out on me. I figured from the information that I gathered here that the hotel would be Palazzo or Venetian. I went back in after it timed out and the bed choice was gone, but the price was still 116$ so I figured it was the same place. The amenities were the same but just without the Bed Choice option, turned out to be Trump International, it was not what I was expecting :) . I called Hotwire a few hours later after reading reviews about Trump International and explained what had happened to me earlier in the day. I told the CSR that I really wanted a hotel with a Bed Choice and that this trip was for a Honeymoon. The CSR made a one time exception for me and refunded my money for that earlier purchase (Already got the confirmation email for the cancellation.). I went back in just an hour ago and saw the same description with the Bed Choice, I quickly booked a King and it turned out to be the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino (One of the ones I was aiming for in the first place.). It was a dollar more(per night) than when I first saw it 14 hours earlier, but I was relieved. Trump would of been a great deal if I was there for anything but a Wedding/Honeymoon (Especially without a car!). The issues I read about the loud train whistles in the middle of the night and the 10 minute walk from the Strip made me glad I was able to have a "do over". Thanks BetterBidding! Thanks Hotwire! (Especially for the great CSR, I even took the time to do the survey after the call.)
