Just to close this post, we ended up booking a package deal, air and hotel, through Expedia for Portland in July. I got a better rate on airfare going with a package. Thanks.

North Michigan Ave 4* - Fitness, Restaurant, Business, High Speed - $102 Magnificient Mile 4* - Bed Choice, Fitness, Restaurant, Business, High Speed - $134 Last year we got the Hyatt Regency through HOTWIRE. Hoping for something different this time around! Thanks.

Can someone help me ID a Hotwire 4 1/2* in North Riviera Maya-Puerto Morelos, please. It is listed at $196/night. It is for 2 adults, 6 nights, 3/28/10 - 4/3/10. The amenities are as follows: Resort Suite Beachfront Oceanfront Food & Bev Premium Bev A la carte Water Sports/Activities Evening entertainment Daily Activities Complimentary breakfast Fitness center Pools Restaurants Business center Golf Tennis Spa services All-inclusive. I notice that only one 4 1/2 * in North Riv Maya has been "pinned," which is the Secrets Silversand. These amenities do NOT match exactly. Any ideas? We are looking for adults only, if at all possible.

Just booked the 4* Negril through this HOTWIRE link and received the Riu Palace Tropical Bay.

I think I just answered my own question. I did a "package" deal through Hotwire, as another poster had suggested in a different thread, to help reveal the properties. I am thinking the 4* is Rui Palace Tropical Bay and the 3* if RIU Negril. If I'm way off, can someone correct me. Thanks.

Thereuare, Yes, I understand. The 4* that I saw listed on Hotwire had a T.A. rating of 4 out of 5, which matches the Inter-Continental. If possibly Racinelighthouse's purchase of the Iron Horse showed a 4 1/2 or 5 out of 5, I thought it might add a little insight. Just a thought.
