  1. Looking at the 5* in Vancouver for Coal Harbour, Convention Center & Stanley Park. Is it guaranteed that it will be Pacific Rim Fairmount? That is the only 5* that is displayed on the better bidding list. CAD363 Here are the amenities: Complimentary Free Internet Amenities Business center Fitness center Indoor pool(s) Near beach Pet friendly Pool(s)Restaurant(s) Smoke-free rooms
  2. Bid Several Times between this zone and North Michigan Ave. Ended up with the Palmer House Hilton. Hotwire/Priceline currently have it for $270/night for the same period. Starting bidding on North Michigan Ave zone at 4* and bid from $100 adding $5 for every re-bid zone. After adding all re-bid zones (under 4*) added Millennium Park, Loop & Grant Park Area as I was getting frustrated. Probably could've gotten a bit cheaper/ Obviously would've liked to have it a bit cheaper, but its a holiday weekend, in the middle of summer, so can't go wrong!
  3. I have a similar question. Used PL a few times, but not very familiar with it. Going to Chicago from Aug 2-5, 2013 and was wondering if I'd have more luck booking closer to the date. Seems like the zone and ratings i'm looking at (tourist areas) are around $200+ on HW. Would PL provide better prices closer to the date.
  4. Received booking confirmation at Crowne Plaza Detroit Novi. Going to the Wolverines game in Ann Arbor for Nebraska and this is by far the cheapest option I can find! (Coming from Toronto Canada for this one! Noticed that the admin has a Wolverines avatar!) Price is in $ CDN. Amenities: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center
  5. Did an intial bid of $50.00 for a 3.5* Toronto Downtown South Hotel and was rejected. Got another member who was staying in the room to bid for $55.00 and it was accepted! Thanks guys!
  6. I placed a bid for $55US for a 4* hotel downtown Toronto for June 20th for 1 Night. I was happy to receive the King Edward at this price, which came to $69 after taxes. After looking at Trip Advisor, I noticed that some people were able to get it for $51US, so $55US isn't a bad deal. This was my first experience with Priceline (I'm a Hotwire expert!) and am pleasantly surprised by the great hotel!
