I will have a 1 night layover in HK - arrivng at 11 pm and flight the next morning at 9 am. The Regal Airport hotel is too expensive at $160 on discount sites. Where can I stay that will be easy to get to and from the airport and not a lot of $$$ as I am finishing a month long trip in Asia and money is tight?? Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I bid for this hotel on PL HK after unsuccessfully trying on PL US. I ended up getting two nights at the 5* JW Marriott in West Hong Kong for $128 per nite. With taxes & the PL fee, it came out to $148 US per night. This was for the Friday & Saturday nights of May 20th & 21st. I tried $96 and $110 but neither worked. I am happy with the location and hotel for the price. :) For me spending $148 per night is a lot of money as I am not travelling for business, but it seemed worth it in HK, one of the more expensive cities in SE Asia.

I tried to get a 4* in USE and then USE or USW for $70, $80 and $90 but was denied. Tried $92 and got a room at the Park Hyatt in the Union Sq. East./Embarcadero area. Reservation for 1 night on friday 8/20. Not as cheap as others have gotten on the board. Not sure why. But still a lot less than retail!
