  1. Of course, I started with the PRICELINE link in Better Bidding. I bid $35 for a 3* hotel in Lafayette, IN for March 6, 1 night. I was rejected, but was given a counter offer of $50. Since I was booking the same day as my trip, and I didn't have any other regions to add (this is Lafayette, IN, you know), and I wanted a 3* (the highest offered), I accepted their suggestion. I got the Best Western Lafayette Executive Plaza & Conference Center for $50 plus $13.69 in fees, total of $63.69. Since that's still half off their Internet rate, I'm happy. Thanks, Better Bidding, for a list of potential hotels.
  2. Bid $42 for 3.5* Disneyland hotel - rejected. Bid $46 and added Laguna Beach area - rejected. Bid $50 and added Newport Beach area - and scored the Doubletree. Final price was $50.00 + $13.41 taxes and fees = $63.41. Of couse, I began with the BB PRICELINE link. :)
  3. I selected Orlando airport 3.5* upscale for $40.00 per night. I was rejected, but encouraged to add $12 to my offer. I'm no fool, so I did, and scored the Hyatt Regency at the airport. Checking their site revealed the cheapest room to be $134 per night, if I had booked directly with Hyatt. Thanks to all at Better Bidding! :)
  4. Thanks to this priceline win I booked the same hotel through Priceline for 2 nights, May 27-29, 2009. My bid of $35.00 per night was successful. And yes, I used the PRICELINE link through betterbidding.com.
  5. Hartford Airport, Hilton Garden Inn 2.5* Also won a bid for $55 for Jan. 16.
  6. I also won a bid on this hotel Jan. 17-19 - price paid $67.00. Of course, on arrival, they added $10 per day to park.
