  1. Agreed regarding the Friday vs. Sunday night being the reason for the difference in cost. My poorly-worded point was it looks like Palazzo and Venetian are now both being listed with the "Resort" icon (which the betterbidding list doesn't reflect). I'd be interested to know their system regarding which of the two hotels to assign.
  2. Interesting....as you can see from my thread a little below this, I got Venetian for the same weekend, albeit a Friday night stay rather than a Sunday, for $167. I failed to check the additional amenities, but looking again today (my deal is still up), it has the same amenities listed as your deal. I wonder if the folks at Las Vegas Sands know which hotel they are putting up before hand, if they just flip a coin when someone books, or what the method to their madness is. I imagine the price difference has to do with a Sunday stay, but I could be wrong.
  3. Booked the 5* through the link provided; it was actually Venetian. I'm happy with that. Thanks for the help.
  4. Restaurant is the only amenity I forgot. Oh, and as long as I'm at it, I assume this is Caesar's Palace since it's the only identified 4.5 star central strip, but at $124, here are the amenities: Casino Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Center HIgh Speed Internet Golf Tennis Spa Thanks!
  5. Hello again, Trip got cancelled before I could book the last time, but it's back on. Trying hotwire again, another 5* Central Strip pops up at $167, but unlike my original post this one has the following amenities: Resort Suite Casino Fitness Center Pool Restaurants BUsiness Center High Speed Internet Also, looking at 4* Central Hotel at $89, following amenities: Casino Fitness Pool Business Center Golf Spa Thanks for the help. We plan on booking tonight or tomorrow, and will be sure to use the links if we go hotwire.
  6. Hello, looking for help identifying a hotel. 5*, center strip, 12/11-12/13, listed at $166. Amenities: Casino, Fitness CEnter, pools, restaurant, business center, high-speed internet, spa services. Also, I assume the 5* Center Strip Condo is Trump? Didn't see it listed on the list as such. FINALLY: I know this varies, but any idea on whether I should book now, or wait? Thanks, and will remember to book through the link when I book.
  7. Very first bid accepted by National. $30 a day was SOOOO much lower than the posted prices, I was shocked when it was accepted. Total charges = $278.59. Lowest price on Hotwire was $48.85, total of $423.74. Lowest through Orbitz was $492 for the week. Didn't use Priceline for a hotel since a full ocean view is a must for us, and it's my understanding that usually isn't what you are getting through PRICELINE. For those interested, found this little gem: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g6...aui_Hawaii.html Hopefully it's as good as the reviewers say.
  8. I've been browsing here a while, and just want to take this opportunity to commend the mods. You all are WAAAAAAYYYYYYY too patient when it comes to the number of posts asking how to avoid Trump, considering it is spelled out in detail in the FAQ and gets posted about every other day. You are better people than I.
  9. First try, guess I should have gone lower! Unfortunately, forgot to use the PRICELINE link :) Next time for sure.
