  1. I've been trying on PRICELINE (name your price) for days and keeping an eye on HOTWIRE as well. The room prices are so high for this weekend it's crazy! Although $176 is pricey for a hotel, it was the best rate that I found in Boston for this weekend. Most of the 4 star hotels were priced at $250 or more!
  2. Hi, I won on priceline the Fairmont Copley for $125 a night. I booked 2 rooms though. I've also been trying since late October! I placed my bid early Monday morning and finally, my bid was accepted! You may want to try bidding in the early morning. I'm not sure if that will make a difference, but it's worth a shot! Good Luck, Glitzy
  3. Parking $42 at the FAIRMONT COPLEY!, Anyone know where I can park for cheaper? Why must parking in Boston be so expensive?! Anyone know where I can park for cheap (or cheaper) within walking distance to the Fairmont Copley? I'd appreciate it! Thanks, Glitzy
  4. I've been trying to book 2 rooms since October 26th! I didn't want to pay a fortune! So I've been quite persistent! 2 rooms, 2 nights. My bids were as follows: 4* $90 Financial district 4* $100 Financial + Theatre District 4* $110 Financial + Theatre + Harbor front 4* $120 Financial + Theatre + Harbor front + Waterfront Finally, this morning I got something decent! We booked 2 rooms in 2008 for 2 nights for the same weekend, we had won for $90 a night at the Hyatt! Anyhoo, here's the total cost: $480 Rooms $82.48 taxes and fees $562.48 Total
  5. We've decided to go some other weekend. TBD. Thanks everyone for your insight!
  6. Thanks for letting me know! I might try to book something just for Sunday night. I believe there's a Celtics game on Saturday night too! Urgh!
  7. I can't seem to find a hotel that is 3.5* or better for under $130! Am I too last minute? How much should I bidding? I'd like to stay in the Quincy Market - Faneuil Hall - Financial - Copley Square - Theatre District area. Help! Thanks! Glitzy
  8. I had to request quotes quite a few times. Then I read someone's posting (BillyBlaze) got a room at $90 around the same time I will be going. This board is amazing, and saved me loads of $$$! Thanks! 2 rooms 2 Nights $360.00 $58.34 (taxes and fees) total $418.34USD
