I started bidding at $60 for a 4*. After adjusting the price to $70, and adding in 3.5* I finally won. I went to the Pittsburgh Marriott web site and they were quoting $270 per night. Needless to say, I'm very happy.

I was fairly sure what hotel I was going to get for 4* Downtown in Pittsburgh. Booking through marriott.com would have been $299 per night for the cheapest room. My first bid was $120 - which was rejected. I then increased the bid to $142 per night and won. So - very happy! ps. have used the info. on this site before but forgot to post feedback, thought it better to start later rather than never
