  1. Using PRICELINE link on your website I did the following: 1- Downtown + 3 star + $65 --> My bid rejected and was offered $85 counter bid which I refused. 2- Added Convention Center + $70 --> Offer was accepted Good win considering the lowest price on regular websites was $119
  2. Used the PRICELINE link on the top right after reviewing previous LAX posts. First bid accepted and turned out to be Los Angeles Radisson Airport (LAX). as follows: Area 7 (LAX) bid: $57 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Price details: Offer Price: $57.00 Taxes and Fees: $15.56 Total Charges*: $72.56 Very happy with the result

  4. Used the PRICELINE link on your website, saw previous biddings & and I got it from the best bid Selected 4 stars and the zone Montreal. Price $60 + $17.29 taxes = USD 77.29
  5. Many thanks everybody, used other means to reserve Rio/Sao Paulo Hotel. Since there is no bidding history for Rio/Sao, I couldn't risk it.
  6. Used the PRICELINE link on this site for reservation. First bid was Central zone @ $85/nite --> rejected Second bid added Glattbrugg zone @ $88/nite --> Accepted Taxes/charges --> 18.43 Grand Total for 2 nites --> $194.43 On the Hotel website, their best rate average for that period (non-refundable): approx. $180/nite Very good deal for Zurich, especially when taking into consideration the very strong Swiss Franc.
  7. I stayed in this hotel in 2003. It is a nice boutique hotel that I enjoyed. You can see the world's widest boulevard from your room. They even allowed me to checkout @4PM--no extra charge.
  8. Any information about hotels in Brazil (Rio De Janeiro/Sao Paulo) participating in the bidding process? Thanks in advance
  9. Thanks for the advice. I canceled my membership this morning. Will follow up with the Credit Card company on that issue.
  10. Used your link to PRICELINE. Bid many times before without success for 11 Oct - 14 Oct. On the third try today ( 4 & 3 stars) in White House + Capitol Hill area, I got Washington Court Hotel on Capitol Hill. Price is more than many posted on the board, because of the coming presidential elections. Paid $95/nite + taxes (Total $285 + $50 taxes). However, I was told I will get 10% discount (became 15% later) because of my first time on Priceline, don't know how this will work out (ANY IDEA?). Other internet hotel sites have the price of the same itinerary at ($221 - $255 per nite), savings of more than 50%.
