Not sure why the price went so high. I suspect it is because of the holiday weekend included in these dates. I started bidding at $32 in the Renton/Kent and Auburn/Federal Way areas since my extention at $30 did not go through. I increased my bids by $2 each time changing dates until I got it at the $38. I used the BB PRICELINE link as usual. :)

Yes, $27 was rejected this time so I went up to $30. Usually $27 works every time in this zone but not this time. I prefer the Extended Stay in Kent to the Homestead anyway, but I usually get the ES for the $27 bid. There have been some changes of late, so I have to make some adjustments I guess.

Days Inn Salt Lake City South. Currently at Candlewood Suites 2* in the same zone 7 but was not able to get it again or extend it. Paid $40.00 here for 8/13/08 - 8/14/08.
