I put in a bid for $100 for 4* choosing only River North. It denied my bid but gave another free bid. I put in $110 and it was accepted for the Sheraton Chicago Hotel Tower on 4/16-4/18. It was about a $100 less a night than the hotel website, so I'm happy. Using the PRICELINE link.

I gave a few bids during the last month...Today my very first bid as accepted at $80. I should have started lower! :) I used the betterbidding.com link PRICELINE I chose 3* and picked the fishermans wharf and lombard st. areas. My first bid at $80 was accepted for the Courtyard By Marriott Fishermans Wharf, 580 Beach St.

I've been rebidding for a few days now and have not been successful :) . started at $65 jumped up to $120 before it was accepted. $120 is still better than the $149 price they blocked out for a friend's wedding so I'm happy. GO BUCKS!!

:) I've been bidding this price range all week for a 4 star downtown and have not been accepted. I hate PRICELINE.
