Won bid at $46. Started bidding at $38 and increased my bids by $1 each attempted bid using other zones without 3.5 hotels. Very pleased with this accepted bid. I used the Priceline link through Betterbidding.com for my bid.
Try this website to get parking rates for Chicago. Some of the lots west of the river around Madison and Washington will save you the most money as long as you don't mind parking about a mile away. I use it often for parking deals on the weekend. (This site also provide pricing in other cities too)
First bid for $51 rejected, won next bid. The Expedia rate was $109. After first rejection there was an offer for $60/night that i declined and chose to rebid instead. I used the bidderbidding PRICELINE links to place my bids.
First unsuccessful attempt was $46. Then I added Shrewsbury/Norhtborough area and increased my bid to $48 and was accepted. I am very happy since DoubleTree's website rate is $109. I am running the Boston Marathon that weekend and rates in downtown Boston are so high! I used the betterbidding link to do this bidding.
I used the PRICELINE link on the board and won this bid with first try for this location and level. Previously I was trying for the 3 star level in the downtown area and failed with bids up to $60 with my last attempt earlier today.
Thanks for the tip by Falcon7 in this winning priceline bid, I repeated his/her bid and was approved my first try. Expedia rate is $355 for the same dates.
