  1. With fees and taxes it came to $54. Amenities: Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service) Not exciting or glamorous but it will do the job nicely. Used the HOTWIRE link. Thanks for the website!
  2. We decided to leave a day early on our trip to Florida so we needed somewhere to stay on the way. Florence has two zones and it was a good distance. 1st bid - $60 - Rejected but offered free rebid at $77 2nd bid - $70 - accepted Country Inn and Suites This same hotel looks to be listed for $80 on HOTWIRE and $110 on Travelocity. Hopefully this will be an ok place to stay. We've had spotty luck with this brand of hotels. At least it comes with breakfast.
  3. WOW! What a beautiful hotel! I have stayed in more than a few 3, 3.5 and 4 star priceline hotels and this one was far and away the most beautiful and refined hotel I've stayed in on priceline. The lobby alone was spectacular and luxurious and yet still very comfortable and a welcoming place to gather and interact with others. The hotel room had many details that are lacking in most new hotels; heavy duty solid doors sat the entry and also in the bathroom and the closet, superior fixtures in the bathroom, high quality black out shades and comfortable furniture. The only downfall was the tile at the indoor pool was very slick and I saw several kids fall on it. The hotel was so nice I would consider booking it outright instead of using priceline if I were to visit the area again. For me that is saying a lot.
  4. Trying to book two rooms in the Lancaster area (east or west) for a long weekend with friends. Bids places over the course of five days. Day 1 3* $50 rejected, rebid $55 rejected 2.5* $40 rejected, rebid $43 rejected Day 2 3* $58 rejected, rebid $62 rejected 2.5* $45 rejected, rebid $48 rejected Day 3 3* $ 65 rejected, rebid $68 rejected 2.5* $50 rejected, rebid $53 rejected Day 4 3* $70 (offered free rebid at $88), rebid $73 rejected 2.5* $55 rejected, rebid $58 rejected Day 5 3* $75 - accepted! Total with tax and fees is $515 for two rooms over three nights. My only concern with the Marriott is that they charge for parking. Hopefully the convent location will make up for some of that. I always make sure to use the PRICELINE link.
  5. Bid 1: $40 3.5* Tysons Corner (received warning that bid was too low) Bid 2: $45 added East Falls Church(offered free rebid if I raised bid to $60) Bid 3: $48 added Sterling-Ashburn Bid 4: $50 added Dulles South Accepted Tysons Corner Crown Plaza Used the BetterBidding PRICELINE link! Thanks!
  6. There are tons of rebids for 3.5 stars in the Northern Virginia area so I did my best to get the lowest price. 1. $40 rejected 2. $45 Offered free rebid if I increased to $55 3. $47 Again offered free rebid if I increased to $57 4. $49 Accepted! I used the Priceline link, you should too! Thanks for the great website!
  7. Accepted first bid of $40. They must be desperate. I did a little research and it looks like this is a newer property. I hope it lives up to the 2.5 star status because I haven't been very happy with Country Inn & Suites in the past. This hotel is not yet on the GA priceline list. Country Inn & Suites Savannah Airport 2
  8. First Bid - $45 Free Rebid #1 - $47 Free Rebid #2 - $50 Free Rebid #3 - $52 Free Rebid #4 - $55 Accepted! Quite a steal at $55 for a new 4* property. I used the PRICELINE link, thanks for your help!
  9. I'd say that the Four Points lives up to it's 3-star status. The room had all of the expected amenities of a 3-star, a refrigerator, sitting area, "premium" linens, flat screen tv with HD cable, and a large bath room. I would happily stay here again. My only complaint is that the swimming pool is outside.
  10. First bid Airport 3* - $40 Second added Savannah North - $45 (Received 'free' rebid offer if increase bid by $13) Third added Savannah West - $50 Accepted I was trying to get the Staybridge Suites and it looks like this Four Points has been upgraded from 2.5 to 3 stars. I'll let you know if it lives up to the 3 star level. Used your PRICELINE link. Thanks for the help.
  11. Hotel rate per night:$99.00 Nights:2 Subtotal:$198.00 Tax recovery charges and fees:$31.52 Total price:$229.52 Amenities: Fitness Center Restaurant Business Center High Speed Internet Golf Nearby Used HOTWIRE link.
  12. I don't know how this is only rated a "3 star" property. I have stayed in several "4 star" properties through priceline that were not as luxurious as the Pittsburgh Airport Hyatt. The room was amazing, and the pool and work out room were as good as any I've ever seen. A FANTASTIC value. The only drawback was that you have to pay for parking ($11 a night), bringing the total cost to $64.
  13. Bid of $40 accepted on first try. Taxes and fees = $12.93 Total cost = $52.93 Used the PRICELINE link to bid.
  14. First Bid - $35 (rejected) Added Indianapolis South - $40 (Rejected) Added Speedway - $45 (Accepted!) Taxes and fees $14.48 Total $59.48 Not bad when PRICELINE is advertising this very hotel for $109 on the Indianapolis main page.
