so, we bit the bullet and went with the HOTWIRE when the price dropped to $209, and i am proud to say we got the HUDSON ... thanks so much for all the help. we will def use betterbidding again, when we travel. thanks

thanks for all the hard work. we are interested in them. the Buckingham looks like a good deal too... but we are still pretty interested in the original MTC, which hopefully is the Hudson. we are most likely will make up our mind today ... so we dont have to think about it...anymore.

i would have to say tops at 250 a night. hopefully closer to 200 is better. thats why interested in the hopeful hudson property. we will be going to the open 25th to the 29th. thanks

im pretty famillar with the city. been going there for years. usually stay with friends in the LES but this year we are attending the US OPEN, and were hoping something that was easy to come back to late at night. hopefully with out switching lines. personally i would prefer to be down in LES still but some fam is statying in the time sq area, and we were looking to be relatively close by, but not exactly time sq. truly we would be only really sleeping in the hotel and spending almost all day out at flushing meadows. any advice?

i just checked on the MTC hotel on HOTWIRE has dropped to $205. does anyone out there think it will drop more? or its hit bottom? thanks for the help

it looks like it might be the Sheraton New york. The number of reviews quoted on HOTWIRE and on tripadvisor are almost the same. thanks for the help. i will keep on hunting.
