  1. I started my purchase with the PRICELINE link. Looking for 4* in Downtown. Started bidding at $38. Added zones and upped bid by $1 until I got the Hyatt at $46. I was offered $52 but decided to keep bidding since there are so many zones in Columbus. Subtotal: $46 Taxes and Fees: $15.08 Total Charged to Card: $61.08 For anyone interested...there's a public parking garage under the Capitol across the street. Looks to be roughly $12 for 12-24 hours. Thanks again to the BB board!
  2. I've been keeping an eye on the trip for weeks. Finally saw today the rates on Hotwire had dropped (two weeks out on the trip). I decided to go to PRICELINE using the board's link. I had bid all the way to up $95 in the past using the Minneapolis/St. Paul re-bid zones with no luck. Today I started at $55 and got a winner on the first try. St. Paul Downtown - 3* 11/5/10 - one night Hilton Garden Inn St Paul Total Room Cost: $69.60 Thanks for all the help!
  3. Thanks - will add a new post with winning bid once I get one booked!
  4. Forgot to add that there's no customer recommendations. It says "We are still gathering reviews for this property." Makes me worry a little....
  5. Looking for Downtown St. Paul for 11/5/10 - 11/6/10 3.5 star - $69/night Suite Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Pool Restaurant Laundry High Speed Internet Kitchenette I don't usually see any of these ammenities listed on Hotwire and this doesn't match any on the list. I'm worried it might be the Best Western but don't think so because it's 3.5. I'm trying for the Holiday Inn or Crowne Plaza. Anybody able to offer advice? Thanks!
  6. Hello - started looking for 3* Downtown. Bid $44, no luck. Added West Mifflin, Bid $46, no luck. Added Pitt North, Bid $50, no luck. Noticed the Courtyard was a 2.5* so I bid $50 and was told to add $14. Got the hotel the night before my stay for $64 plus $16.61 in taxes. Other websites asked $199-$239. I started using the BB PRICELINE link, but didn't realize until later that when PL says you can get the hotel for a certain amount more that you need to go back and re-click the link. Now I know for next time. This is the second time I have used this forum so I decided to officially sign up. What a great resource. I have saved a lot of money with this information - MANY THANKS!
