  1. plans have changed - you can close/delete this thread. ty for all the help -- I sincerely appreciate it!
  2. Thank you, but would you agree that 3.5* one is the Wyndham Grand Hilton Pittsburgh and Towers ? Amenities: Restaurant, Fitness, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower
  3. on HOTWIRE, it only shows a 3 star in the downtown Pittsburgh area: (again, the pool makes me think Westin) Indoor pool(s) Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Free Breakfast Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Thank you so much for the time and help! I really would prefer the Wyndham (I think)
  4. ok, on HOTWIRE, here what they offer: 3 Stars, downtown Pittsburgh, $245/night, 3-star Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh This Hotel features the following amenities: Indoor pool(s), Fitness Center, Pool(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service) The pool makes me think this is the Westin. As far as I know, the Wyndham does not have a pool. PRICELINE shows Wyndham $269/night and Westin $260/night. (in the downtown area) Now, that being said, when you click the 'name your price' link, they only offer (1) 4 star and (1) 3.5 star. This leads me to believe that the 4 star is the Westin and the 3.5 star in the Wyndham because when you look at the previous page where it actually names the hotels, there is only (1) 4 star and (1) 3.5 star hotel in downtown Pittsburgh area. Also, in the place you type the dollar amount, if you choose 4 star, it says in the box "Median retail price for a 4 star hotel in the area selected is $260." and for 3.5 star it says "Median retail price for a 3½ star hotel in the area selected is $269." thoughts?
  5. Hello again friends, Thank for the help throughout the years! I am bringing my sons to a Steelers game and want to stay at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh downtown. I'll use the HOTWIRE or the PRICELINE link depending on whichever you decide. It will be one adult and two children. Check in September 15th and check out September 17th. What else do you need from me? Thanks!

  9. I want to be told what to enter in order to get a specific hotel(s) I think hot wire would be the best option - don't you? I hate to use priceline and then get some less than stellar hotel just to save a few bucks. On hotwire what is the: $174/night Midtown East area hotel fitness, business center, restaurant, internet, spa, hotel? $158/night Downtown - SoHo - Financial District area, fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, internet, hotel?
  10. $175 will be fine. Tell me what u know and I'll look at the hotels you suggest. thanx again! :)
  11. thank you for the reply and the thread reference. honestly, the zone(s) doesn't really matter as long as we are close to everything and it appears we will be based on the transtit systems in place. I am up for suggestions as far as the zone(s) are concerned. My main goal is just a nice place to stay at a reasonable price. tell me what to do and where i'll likely end up and i'll do it. any and all suggestions would be helpful and I will use the links here to make the reservations. thanx!
  12. 1st off --thanx for all the help over the years! From Richmond to Las Vegas! :) Wifey and I are going to NYC for some site seeing 1/13-1/16. We want a fantastic room right in the middle of it all. I'd like to stay under $150/night. 4star would be great. I'll go a little higher if need be. PRICELINE or HOTWIRE--makes no difference. Thanx in advance!
  13. Thank you for the well wishes and the restaurant suggestion! We will go here and report back in a few weeks. Thanks again!
  14. Ok, we used the PRICELINE link from the site and booked our Vegas vacation! 2 people, round trip non-stop flight from Charlotte, NC to Vegas, 6 nites at the Bellagio, and a rental car for $1977 total! Thanks for all the help! :)
  15. Thank you friend --I'm actually thinking about the Bellagio now --since we don't go that often. You ever heard of the $20-$50 trick working at the Bellagio? Your thoughts? Regardless of what we choose, we'll definitely use the links from this site.
  16. Hello, First --TY for your site! It has saved me money before. I was checking the i4vegas link thru your site. Me and the wife are going 3/28 -4/3. I saw some very good prices. We want to be on the strip in the best place possible and I plan on doing the $20-$50 dollar trick. My budget would be no more than $80/night. And since I'm using the 'trick', I feel pretty confident we'll get an upgrade. Do you have any suggestions? When you get time, please check the i4vegas prices for these dates and let me know if I can do any better using any of the methods you may have. Also, if you think the I4Vegas prices are about the best we can get, tell me the top 3 hotels you would pick Thanks in advance for everything! TRIGYYZ

  21. Thank you so much! Here is what we would like to do: Area: Lake Mary (zone 3) 3 1/2 stars Only 1 room Staying from 11/23-11/27 I'd like to spend $55 a night. THANK YOU SO MUCH! We need to make these reservations as soon as possible.
  22. The wife and I and our 4 children will be in Orlando 11/23 - 11/27. We'll need 2 rooms. Obviously the best rate at the best place is what we're looking for. What other info do you need from me? Thanks in advance! (this'll be the 4th time I've used the site! Thank you!)
