  5. I have no idea why but I cannot seem to paste anything here... there's no 5 star listed so I am assuming it is going to be one of the 4.5 that have been pushed up, if thats the case then not really interested. today it is going for $134 free internet restaurant pet friendly business centre smoke free fitness centre
  6. Dates 23rd August to 26th August $139 All the same amenities as the previously won 4.5* I saw posted.
  7. so, no luck with paris i gave up instead of going with champlain like one guy did here , after some online digging i went with the Adagio city aparthotel haussmann Champ Elysees. 830 euros for 5 nights or 166 euro a night. it very nicely located it seems and newly renovated and such i cant find my brussels thread and forgot if i posted or not but i got brussels 12th to 13th june 130 USD one night... Marriot .
  8. after doing some research on this forum and some postings on wins etc. I decide to big $130 to secure a 4star from 12th to 13th June. I got the Renaissance, looks good. Used the PRICELINE link. Availability is low for 5 star. So no points trying that. Most sites turned up nothing those that did were in the $500+ range. The website rate for renaissance was $179 Euros. My final price after taxes was about $150 USD. Approx savings of $136 USD.
  9. so i need only 1 night, based on the price i found out what should my strategy be?
  10. So I checked Le Meridien and their lowest rate was about $250 Euros, any bid advice? If I did only one right the rate was 313 euros, and 2 night and up it starts dropping 260 etc to 3 nights at 250 as mentioned.
  11. I need rooms from the 13th to 18th, wouldnt mind splitting 13 to 15th or 16th to the 18th. 4 star I tried Champ Elysses area added the one free rebid i have tried splitting the dates and all the combinations up to $160, no luck. I have added the tower zone Depending on the situation I wouldnt mind going up to $200. but i dont want to get that hotel in rive gauch or something... Some help pls It seems for Brussels the only 5star is Le meridien any past info on that?
  12. tried paris 13th to 18th up to 160 for champ elyeeses area.. no go.. broke up the stay to 13th to 16th, no go.... advice?
  13. so i have done amsterdam 9th to 12 June 4 star started bid at 120 countered 154, i rebid 140 and got the: NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky although not as nice as hilton but the location is brilliant. Now I am going to try France 13th to 18th... Champ Elysees area...any advice? n yes I used the PRICELINE link
  14. I have not started bidding and would probably do so in the next week, I was looking through some comments and etc and it seeem the Champ Elysses area is the best bet ? What sort of prices can I expect to pay in this area? I assume at 170 to 200 USD this is still signifigant savings for a 4 star hotel in that area?
  15. I have posted here before but anyways, first time in Europe so far looking around the board, 4star in both mentioned citites should be just under $150 USD? The normal hit for Amsterdam seems to be Moevenpick ? Whats the norm for downtown Paris is theres such a thing.
