  1. Hey I have the same info on a hotel during the same timeframe-ish. What did the hotel end up being? Thanks!
  2. I bid 7 times, beginning with a $90 bid and gaming the areas so that I was only bidding on 4* in Rittenhouse. Bid order: 90 93 95 98 100 103 105 -- Winning bid.
  3. Bid $60 which prompted the "wait" screen, which was eventually denied. Then used a different credit card for $66 and price was accepted. 3* Hartford (Downtown) - Crowne Plaza - $66 04/13/11 - 04/14/11
  4. Tried once and got it with option to extend. 3* Charlottesville - $60 Doubletree 04/13/11 - 04/14/11
  5. I bid $50 on 9/7 for a two night stay in Arlington at the 3* level and it accepted the price immediately. The Courtyard by Marriott accepted the bid.
  6. had central park south, upper west side, times square. also selected 48 and 3.5*. Began bidding at 100 last night, bid all the way up to 129 today and it accepted the price at the 4* level. I won the Le Parker Meridien for 129 (plus tax) in Central Park South at the 4* level for tonight, Sep 3, checking out tomorrow morning.
  7. I began bidding only 4*for $60 and increased by $2 each time. First, selected Miami DT for $60 and it was rejected, then added Miami Beach, Ocean Drive for $62 - rejected. Added South Beach, Central - $64, rejected. Added South Beach - Collins Avenue $66 and the price was accepted at the Hyatt Downtown. Dates are for 08/01/2010 - 08/02/2010.
  8. Bid at 4* for $80, did not win. Bid 3.58 for 82 dollars, won for 2 rooms for 2 nights, 6/4-6/6 Marriott Savannah Riverfront
  9. Won hotel. Bid $30 selecting only Airport south 3.5*, then $31 selecting 3*, then $30 selecting airport south and north 3* or better. Won Courtyard by Marriot.
  10. I started my bidding at $40 and bid higher incrementally by $1 until I hit $45. I won Doubletree Hotel Overland Park-Corporate Woods. Areas with 3.5* (click the other areas to maximize bidding frequency) 3,4,7,10,12,13 or Downtown, Country Club, Lenexa, Overland, Olathe, MCI, West
  11. Le Pavillon Hotel 833 Poydras New Orleans, LA 70112 504 581-3111
  12. I'm sorry $95 was accepted. I secured the rate and the hotel is booked for that price.
  13. First bid $65 with just FQ area then jumped to $75. Bid was accepted. I also checked downtown area when I bid $75.
  14. I feel like I had to fight for this. I slowly increased from 45 dollars and ended up at 95. Currently East Downtown and Airport don't have 4* so you can use those to keep bidding. Also, u can alter the date to your FIRST night of stay and then accept another night after your bid is accepted. Good luck! This week must be on lockdown or something... 4* $95
  15. Hey there, I posted just a moment ago and saw your post about Miami for 5/24. I don't know if this helps at all, but I PRICELINEd a 4* hotel for $60 in Coconut Bay a week later, which is only 7 miles away from the Port of Miami. You may want to try that. It ended up being a Hyatt Regency in Coral Gables. Hope that helps, if not just ignore! :)
  16. Hi Y'all, new to this forum, but wanted to let you all know I was able to PRICELINE a 4* in Miami area (selection was Coral Gables/Coconut Bay) on June 1 checking out June 2. Great deal! The bid before that I made was $55 so you may try $56 $57 $58 and $59 if you're feeling lucky. :) Hotel Name: Hyatt Regency Coral Gables Located 6 miles from MIA airport and 7 miles from the Port of Miami for my cruise on the 2nd. Hooray! ~Good luck~!
