Unfortunately, all the cross-country Amtrak trains to/from Cleveland arrive and depart in the wee hours (e.g. 3 am). I've noticed in a lot of posts in the various regional forums that people were unable to get late arrival along with their bid; I thought late arrival was a standard procedure (they're getting the money either way; why should they care that you only use the room for the later part of the night?). Is this a particular problem for Priceline/Hotwire reservations? Any tips?
