  1. Wanted to stay in either the beach cities or Santa Monica as I really enjoyed them last time I stayed in LA. Started at $70 in beach cities for 3.5* and worked my way up adding zones - santa monica, hollywood, west hollywood, westwood. They finally bit at $90. I actually bid over several days trying the same system each time. $90 seemed a little high for me, but parking is free so it's really like a $65 hotel which is wonderful. Used the PRICELINE link.
  2. In town one night for the Seahawks game. Started at $75 and kept adding zones with $3 increments til $87 was accepted by the Westin. Pretty happy cause the price difference between this and the Hotwire rate (which I'm pretty sure was the Westin listed at $109) should cover parking. And I used the PRICELINE link. Thanks.
  3. Hi everyone, So most things I see on here are for MUCH shorter stays, so I know I'm at a disadvantage there. I was thinking of trying HOTWIRE instead because it seems like it's easier to pick there. I would most like to stay in Hollywood or West Hollywood because I'm considering not renting a car, but if it's cheap enough, I'll rent a car and stay anywhere that is not LAX. I'm hoping to spend under $120/night, preferably closer to $100 and I would really like to have high-speed internet, but I can live without it. So, any suggestions on how to approach this?
