yes, still 3*. Hotel is in good condition as we got this one also last year. We always stay overnight in BUF before our flight. Cean and refurbished rooms, no complaints.

This is a last minute decision, same day booking, am very pleased with $36, total with taxes is $48 :) !

I stayed at Red Rock last May through Hotwire and yes, they add the $21.79 (at the time) resort fee to the final bill. BA21: thanks for the comparison between the Bellagio rooms and the Red Rock's. You just confirmed my suspicion, Red Rock's rooms are hard to beat. I might as well try the Encore next time.

I apologize for not 'closing' this thread before my trip. I got a deal for Days Inn Lundy's Lane through Expedia for $38 that night prior to our trip to Vegas. The main reason why I picked that hotel was that it was newly refurbished and rightly so, everything smells fresh with new carpets, furniture, LCD tv, bathroom and I was very impressed. I will surely not hesitate to book that hotel in the future and I will definitely use your site when booking with Expedia and any of your affiliates. :)

That 3* with three amenities is now gone. As you said, the current 3* has 4 amenities (the same above plus laundy), and the price is $32. This sounds even better as it has gone down even lower! The TA rating is 3.5, 80+ reviews last review Sept 08. The 4* and 2.5* hotels are still there but only the 2.5* has TA rating of 3.5 and 120+reviews (last review October 08). I will stay tune to your guess...thanks!

yea this was an addition to my other hotwire thread as we'd like to try two different hotels in Vegas. I updated the other thread with my MGM booking via their special promo of $69/night. For these dates (NOv 19-21), I found a great deal through Mandalay Bay's website (Exotic Upgrade Promo) for $110 each including $50 resort credit, free suite upgrade to a 750 GR, $300 Savings certificate at Mandalay Place, 2 for1 Mamma Mia tix, and $350 in airfare credit that must be booked with archer travel group. This is the greatest deal I've ever found so it's easy not to pass it up. I feel sorry for not updating this thread quickly. Thanks for all the great advice! Your site is excellent :) !

Selected 3.5* Fisherman's Wharf Bid $65, rejected Added Civic Center Bid $70, rejected Added Marina Bid $75, Accepted Subtotal for 3 nights (Nov. 21-24/08): $225 Taxes and service fees: $41.16 Total Charges: $266.16 I am very happy with this deal!! :) I didn't went over my max budget so more money for sightseeing and food! :) Thanks a lot for this board! Our friend has decided to join us in Ottawa so I'l need 2 rooms now. I was leaning towards the Indigo hotel but is now gone as I plugged my dates again. I decided that I will bid on Priceline instead. I will create a new thread there. Thanks for everything.
