I will be in Monterey on July 26th, 2008 and would like to spend a night there. I want to be close to Downtown so I can walk around. On Priceline, I have an option of bidding - Seaside-Monterey or Pebble Beach. Which one is the closest to Monterey. Any further tips on bidding will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yes, I am finding out that Friday is as expensive. Splitting the bid is not a possibility as my husband is very fussy about unpacking and repacking. Well, I shall continue reading and try to learn the best way to get good rates. Thanks!

Hi, I am hoping to get Palazzo or Venetian for less than $130 (my max budget) per night for April 3-5th. I purposely planned on not staying Saturday night due to the high rates. I am going to Vegas on a very tight budget and want to make the best of it. I will be trying Priceline for the first time. Any advice/suggestions will be helpful. Thank you.
