Hi, No, $55 was not my first bid. I started the bidding at $40 and raised it in $5 increments, using the many free rebids in this area.

We travel to Baltimore every year for a conference. Was surprised to win something this early. I have never stayed at this property, but it sounds nice. I will post a review when I return.

Just found this board today! I see that is is run by a Michigan fan, alum, or both. Me too! :) I bid toward the end of April and got the Marriott San Mateo on the first try for $40. I am seeing mixed reviews on this hotel on other websites, but since there are not many reviews to be found anywhere, I will post a review when I return.
