  1. This is a little late but wanted to make sure I got it up here
  2. After getting my deal, I managed to get my inlaws the same price minus the bonus cash used previously.
  3. Booked this for Thanksgiving trip with an additional $5 bonus cash, started at $35 a month early. Due to only 2 hotels in the entire town and it being a holiday it took a while to get this but managed to save about $15.

  6. Booked the Days Inn in Branson, MO for tonight 3/25. I bid $25 in all branson areas 2* and was accepted.
  7. I am willing to work down to a 2* if need be, since I will be paying for it all myself. Total for the 4 rooms for 3 nights would be around $500, goal of $35/room/night. I have also been sending emails to the individual hotels to see what the have the power to do.
  8. I finally get the opportunity to request help from this forum again. I am planning a trip to Branson, MO from 06/17/2011 - 06/20/2011. To complicate my bidding it is for 8 adults and 4 children. I do not require rooms to be a the same hotel, so I am wondering what you guys think is the best way to get the best deal? Bid for the 4 rooms together for the 3 nights; bid for each room seprately for the 3 nights; or look for one of those cabins that has 4 rooms for full price(from what I have found so far that seems to be about $350/night)
  9. Any thoughts on this hotel? I am going to be staying there tonight. I realize that you probably wont be on here before I arrive there but just wondering.
  10. Just curious, if the hotel that I have reservations for has flood damage what kind of options there are. I don't think it will be anything serious but if there are I'm wondering if the hotel would do something or if I would have to go through priceline or what? Just trying to always be prepared. thanks again for all your help!
  11. yeah its always hard to read reviews, personal things always get in the way, the place I normally get my reviews from is tripadvisor and the only good reviews on there were "It was really close to the airport", etc. So that got me a little worried but I am just going to stop reading reviews and be happy with my excellent price, thank you again for your help.
  12. I recently posted my win for 3* Oklahoma City Airport, Four Points by Sheraton. I am a little concerned because while I know the Four Points to be good quality hotels, every review I have found has thought of this hotel of as 2*, So I am wondering: If the star rating go by the hotel names or the hotel themselves? also am unable to find any photos of the guest rooms and didn't know if anyone knew of any kind of review site I could check? Thank you for your time!
  13. So the wife spun me full circle, and ended up going cheap instead of location. 3* Four Points By Sheraton Okc Arpt Offer Price Summary Bonus Cash Per Room, Per Night: $10.00 Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $40.00 Total Offer Price Per Room, Per Night with Bonus: $50.00 Total Charges to your Credit Card Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $40.00 Subtotal: $120.00 Taxes & Fees: $30.03 Total Charges*: $150.03
  14. yeah I know its not likely, for the bonus cash & preference needs to be 3* or higher and my max is probably around $70 but can go a little higher if I have to(if over $70 my wife will start wanting to cancel the trip). I now that the Softball CWS is there right now as well as the men's regional just ended last night so I am hopping they will get more flexible as it gets closer to time. If I have to I will probably add Oklahoma City North. *Fingers crossed*
  15. June 18 - 21 I grew up in Oklahoma city and now want to take my daughter to all the fun stuff in Oklahoma city. Was amazed to see bricktown hotels around $200 on there websites.
  16. I am trying to get a deal on a hotel in Bricktown in Oklahoma City, I have $30 of Priceline bonus cash($10/night for 3 nights). I saw someone getting a good deal on the Sheraton and tried to replicate. $55bid($45 to me + the $10 priceline bonus cash). I am doing different nights so I figure I just need to bite the bullet and go up in, price that was a very good deal after all. I was wondering if anyone knows if using the bonus cash just makes you have to bid higher or not? I love this site, it amazes me every time I use it. I use the HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links every time I travel. Thank you for being here for all of us who are tired of paying full price.
  17. I am searching reg 2 adults shows 2 hotels at $39. One is "Will Rogers World Airport OKC area Hotel" w/ laundry, the one I am curious about is the "Central Oklahoma City area Hotel" with pool and restaraunt.
  18. I am planning a trip to OKC and saw on hotwire a 2* hotel in OKC-central. I can't find what hotel this is anywhere, any help would be greatly apprecited. Forgot to list: ameneties: pool, restaurant date: June 18-21 price: $39
  19. I am just curious what everyone thinks is the best way to have a great 1st NYC vacation. A.) Try to plan out an itenary for the week or B.) just kinda go with the hustle that is NYC?
  20. I have found a great website that can help with getting through or arround NYC "www.hopstop.com". It gives multiple options and even takes into account time of day and day of week.
  21. I am flying from northwest Arkansas (XNA) to NYC on April 23 and returning April 28. I am trying to use the name your own price on priceline. regular priceline price w/ tax and fees is 337, I have bid up to 250 still without a win is this typical or am i just trying to bid to early or what. I need help with strategy on this airfare stuff. Thank you in advance.
  22. I have not found a thread about this anywhere and have not gotten a response from Priceline themselves. I am trying to find out when you get billed for a "name your own price" hotel or flight, when the bid is accepted or when you check in to the hotel / for the flight. I recently booked a the Intercontinental Barclay in NYC and it was taken out of my account but then a couple days later the charges where credited back to me, is this normal? HELP, thanks!
  23. Shortly as you can see after my initial post I landed the Intercontinental Barclay for $110/night April 23 - April 28 Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $110.00 Subtotal: $550.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $109.02 Total Charges*: $659.02
  24. I am trying to surprise my wife with a combo valentine's/anniversary trip to NYC. Because of this I am hoping to be close to times square. Don't care about size of room or anything like that since it will just be a place to crash, but also dont want a roach motel. I am trying to book the trip before valentine's so I have something to give her, but was wondering what everyone thought about likelihood of getting a better rate if I wait till last minute. Also if I do book now, what would be a good starting bid and star rating. Location is number one factor would prefer Times Square or MTW.
