  1. Glad to report a new hotel in a city where not many seem to bid. I was hoping for either this or the Sheraton, which is even closer to the airport. Best available rate through ichg.com was 109
  2. Sorry for not remembering to use your links. I really like the info on this site.
  3. I tried a bit lower (around 50) and was counteroffered to add 17. I didn't and had to wait for a day as the city has only one zone. Hamburg's a difficult town to bid as there's only one zone and on the four star level there's the LeMeridien Stillhorn, which is quite far from the city and usually can be had for somthing like 70
  4. Every website marketed in Europe has to have vat included. What they don't have to tell you is that there might be a city tax on hotel rooms. In france such a tax exists and it's between 0,3-0,9
  5. I stayed here for a priceline rate of 58$+taxes. The hotel is convenietly located on a quiet side street a block away from the biggest/fanciest department store of Berlin. A few blocks and you are in the middle of all the action of Kurfurstendamm and the Kaiser Wilhelm Ged
  6. 15 of April. I am happy with the rate, because with taxes+PL fee it came down to 74,89$ and lowest on their website was 105
  7. Hi, I got this hotel after starting at 60, 65, 68 and then got it at 71$. I am very pleased and wanted to share this with others. The lowest on the hotel site was 149$. 21-23 Jan. 2005 71$
  8. Sorry about my bad choise of words. I thought that it was difficult getting rooms through priceline in Copenhagen in general. That is because there are quite rarely posts about succesful bids over there. It seems to be very few hotels there that have come up. They are the 3*Mermaid, 4*Palace and the 4*Marriott. These are the only three I have read about. I was prepared for the Palace, which has a great location, but is quite old and the rooms need redecorating. That's why I was glad to get to try the Marriott. Thanks for the great forum. Much nicer than the TOBB.
