Now, I always double-check the request details before clicking the button. I learned my lesson the hard-way .. putting in the wrong dates when my bid got accepted. I do not want to repeat my mistake, especially there is no undo.

Depending on how much time / trouble you want in playing with Priceline bids .. You may want to check out HOTWIRE ( which is easier ), if you don't care which hotel you may get. There is a 2.5* in North Colorado Springs for the 4 nights you mentioned for $119/night + tax. There is a 3* in Colorado Springs airport for $76/night + tax. I would try to stay away from the 2* in Colorado Springs as I got Econ Lodge ( from Priceline/Hotwire ) a few years back and it was pretty bad. Had no problem with street parking during my stay except 1 night when there was an event downtown. Hotel staff kindly advised that if a "parking pass" was issued ( billed to room ), it would be $16 per night. Alternatively, it cost $10 per night if I choose to pay at parking exit ( with no in & out priviledge ).
